Abstract
Nursing care in post partum sectio caesarea is needed in an effort to help patients recover to their original state. The postpartum period starts one hour after the birth of the placenta and lasts up to 6 weeks (42 days). Based on data obtained from the medical records of Budi Lestari Hospital, it was found that the total number of mothers who gave birth in the last 9 months from January 2017 to September 2017 was 176 people, consisting of 144 caesarean sections, 32 vaginal deliveries, and abortion of 6 people. Based on these data, it shows the high number of cases of maternal infection by sectio caeserea in Indonesia so that this health problem can become an extraordinary event. This study aims to increase knowledge in terms of the level of risk of infection in post sectio caesarea. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with the nursing process which includes assessment to evaluation and documentation by collecting physical examination data, interviews, observation of patient status. From the nursing care carried out, there were three diagnoses that were the same in both clients, namely: risk of infection related to episiotomy, impaired feeling of comfort, acute pain related to tissue trauma, impaired physical mobility related to weakness.
