Abstract

Schizophrenia is a group of psychotic disorders with typical distortions of thought patterns, sometimes having the feeling that they are being controlled by forces outside themselves, sometimes strange delusions, perceptual disturbances, abnormal affect that is integrated with real or actual situations, and autism (Zahnia & Wulan Sumekar, 2016). On January 31, 2023, at Dr. Mental Hospital. Suharto Heerdjan Jakarta in the knee room obtained data on 35 hallucinatory patients. Hallucinations are a symptom that often appears in people with mental disorders and are closely related to early psychosis due to trauma in childhood. Hallucinations usually arise due to a change in the orientation of reality, the patient feels a stimulus that is not actually there. General goals in carrying out nursing care for patients who experience sensory perception hallucinations: hearing at the Dr. Suharto Heerdjan Jakarta. In this scientific paper, the author uses a qualitative descriptive research method with a case study approach with interventions in nursing care problems in patients with hallucinatory sensory perception disorders: hearing d. In this study, 5 diagnoses were found that were the same in Mr. A and Mr. H is hallucination sensory perception disorder, social isolation, low self-esteem, ineffective therapy regimen, and risk of violent behavior. And 1 different diagnosis, namely Mr. A is experiencing family coping, while Mr. H occurs ineffective individual coping. The next stage is carrying out implementation strategy 1 identifying hallucinations and teaching how to rebuke them, implementation strategy 2 teaching controlling hallucinations by conversing, and implementation strategy 3 controlling hallucinations by carrying out activities. There was no discrepancy between the theory and the results of the study of the two patients.
