Abstract
Schizophrenia is a psychotic condition that affects individual functions including thinking, communicating, accepting, interpreting reality, feeling and showing emotions which is characterized by chaotic thoughts, delusions, hallucinations and maladaptive behavior. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with case studies. Based on the results of the study, the author found nursing diagnoses in the two patients and there were differences in nursing diagnoses in the two patients. Mr. J has a nursing diagnosis of auditory hallucinations, social isolation, low self-esteem, in-effective individual coping and risk of violent behavior while Mr. K has 2 different diagnoses, namely in-effective family coping and in-effective therapy regimen. Apart from carrying out nursing actions for the main diagnosis, namely auditory hallucinations, the author also carried out social isolation nursing actions. From the results of the implementation evaluation carried out on auditory hallucinations, patients were able to recognize and control hallucinations by shouting, having conversations, carrying out daily activities according to the activity schedule made by the patient, and using medication regularly. The problem had not been completely resolved in both patients, at Mr. K, the author collaborated with the room nurse to continue nursing care because of the author's limited time in providing nursing care, but Mr. A intervention was stopped because Mr. J returned home on January 19 2024 at his own request. Suggestions for future authors are to seek wider information about schizophrenia with auditory hallucinations and better understand the theory from various existing sources.
