The Relationship Between Nurses' Job Stress Levels and Nurses' Caring Behavior in the Primaya Hospital West Bekasi Inpatient Room

Abstract
Nurses as providers of services to patients are not only required to demonstrate their abilities and professionalism in providing nursing care but are also expected to have emotional sensitivity in dealing with all patients, namely caring behavior. Work stress resulting from the many demands from patients and patient families as well as the problems faced by nurses will ultimately affect caring behavior towards patients. The aim of the research was to determine the relationship between the level of work stress of nurses and the caring behavior of nurses at Primaya Hospital. The research design in this study is cross-sectional, this type of research is descriptive quantitative, with the research subjects being nurses who work in inpatient rooms. The research process was carried out in March-August 2023 at Primaya Hospital. The total population was 150 people and the sample was respondents. The method used in sampling is total sampling. The research results showed that there was a significant relationship between the level of work stress of nurses (organizational factors) and the caring behavior of nurses (p=0.038), there was a relationship between the level of work stress of nurses (individual factors) and the caring behavior of nurses in the Inpatient Room (p=0.007), and there is a relationship between the level of work stress of nurses (environmental factors) and the caring behavior of nurses in the Inpatient Room of Primaya Hospital, West Bekasi (p=0.006). Based on these results, it is hoped that the nursing profession at Primaya Hospital, West Bekasi, will continue to make efforts to update nursing knowledge, especially regarding work stress for nurses through seminars, training, workshops, and other activities so that they have good and updated knowledge so they can have positive behavior in their work. dealing with work stress.
